If you read Duane's blog you read about the sister whos son we met in the prison the first day we were there. Here we are in front of the prison, but down the street. They wouldn't let us take pictures in front of it.

Here is the sister with me. She took us out to eat Korean food.

Here are Jean's. They had lived in Saipan, an island north of us, a few years ago and moved back to Korea. They love and miss Saipan. Their son Ji-Hye was the one that took care of us the first 4 days we were in Korea. I have never eaten out so much in my life. The friends are so hospitable.

Minsok(I probably am spelling it wrong) She really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable even though her English was not good. With her is Sunny, a very serious pioneer. When we were talking about our goals, she said she wanted to simplify her life more. All the other pioneers laughed because they feel she has simplified her life so much there isn't anything else she can do. She has traveled to Thailand and would love to perfect her Thai so she can preach to them. She is looking at every avenue of service to see where Jehovah wants her to serve. Love that self sacrificing spirit.

Here is Jun-hee. Also a pioneer in the English group. I was amazed how well he read English. These kids are amazing.

These are some of the kids that are serving in the newly formed foreign lanquage English group. They took such good care of us, and they are so encouraging seeing their zeal in serving Jehovah. This is Cloe(it is her English name) and her father.

This is Julia on the right. She was the one that drove us anywhere we wanted. She is a real kick. We loved how outgoing and generous.

The pioneers took us out to lunch. It was so much fun.

Korea is also full of apartment buildings. It gave me the feeling of science fiction. Just blocks and blocks of huge apartment buildings that look the same

This is from our trip to Korea. It is a country full of mountains. We went in the fall, so the trees were so beautiful in their fall colors.
